NICE!! How well-insulated are the suites? Do you still feel the roar through the glass?

You can hear and feel the roar, but it is muted enough you don't need hearing protection. Clean bathrooms nearby, catered food and drinks in the suite, big screen TV's playing the ESPN3 coverage, and that particular suite is right behind the track. It's good to know people

Also, all of the people in the suite were car nuts. Some were in the hot rod business, some were just fans, all were nice. I had pictures from the 1971 Winternationals and was talking to a couple of guys about how one of the cars I photographed in 1971 was out in the pits in the NHRA Heritage Museum display

I was trying to go for that "Meh, no big deal" look when I was about to wet my pants! Awesome time and really points out the difference between the haves and the have nots. Fortunately, some of the haves are nice people who like to share their good fortune

I really love drag racing
