New Chiropractor in San Miguel -- Mike Lewis

Post by jhwalker »

I am trying to resolve a problem with a finger (shooting related -- a different story...) and while visiting a highly-recommended chiro saw an article on his office wall.
Long story short "Former Seattle chiropractor Michael Lewis, DC, founder and president of the 501(c)(3) organization Write Around the World, undertook a trip to five continents on his 2002 BMW 1150GS Adventure motorcycle." He clocked about 60,000 miles in the process which took years. A couple of days before the motorcycle was to be put on a freighter in Germany to be sent to the USA, he wanted to take a lap at Nurburgring, the bike pretty much as he did his ride on it, and during the lap it started raining. He hit an oil slick (he says :-) ) and lost it and was air-lifted to the hospital with broken ribs and various other injuries. He had not experienced any serious injuries on during the 60,000 miles...

But a nice guy and nice to find a chiro who understands that people do "things".

I can totally relate. Ribs are a bitch to break! Especially two times in a row, about 20 months apart. I would love to see the Nurburgring. One, on a bike, Two being taken for a ride by that very attractive and talented German Gal from Top Gear. I think we have discussed her before. Wonder where she ever got off too???
