ROUND 18 - Leon, MEXICO - Leon

Gautier Paulin of the Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team ended the season on a high with victory in the final round of the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship at Leon in Mexico, while Dylan Ferrandis of Team CLS Kawasaki Monster Energy narrowly missed earning a series medal in the FIM World MX2

I was flying up to SoCal the same day these guys were flying back to wherever after competing in Leon. They were all pretty happy with the results. They were an interesting crew. On the plane, I ended up shooting the bull with an 18 year old kid, Thomas Covington.
He seems to have some skills http://www.motoxaddicts.com/2014/04/07/ ... 2-in-mxgp/ but it was interesting to see how well-spoken, and very mature he was. I assumed that he was early 20s, so when I googled him to do a reality check, I found that he was very understated in what he is up to.
Here is an interview, and for an 18 year old kid, very impressive...
