Yes, it has been a while since I have posted any vids of Tetge in action. But, one surfaced showing him in practice that must be shared.

He tried to hide it, by posting under another one of his track aliases, probably because he does not want to admit to have been riding a Kawasaki.

Well, here it is;

Yes, those are HUGE balls visible upon dismount in the pits at the end of the video. Rightly so.

No wonder he always complains about hip pain and tire wear~! :shock:

Yes, I had a hard time keeping from running him over in a couple of the corners on my camera bike. But, on a Kawasaki, and, with a tire that bald, perhaps it is no wonder that he was sliding around. In the last part of the video, he started to ride smoother and appeared to go a bit quicker. It did look like an interesting track however.

I thought the same thing. Looking cool may not equate to fast. As you noted, the camera bike was keeping up, chopping the throttle to prevent running over, then catching back up to the drifting bike quite easily without all the drama.

But that quick right to left combo seemed like a pretty good trick as both were slides, yet it caught just in time for both transitions. Nicely done.

See, in my mind, this is how I think I am riding. In reality I am not, and end up on my head when I even get remotely close to it. :lol:

I sensed skills at work and I suspect that the rider said that his rear tire was done and chorded out and invited the camera bike out to get some shots of him sliding and clowning. Then at the end of the ride, he got smooth on the final lap to the barn and went quicker. But, the camera bike was clearly quite able to match the pace, so, either he was hindered by the bad tire, or the camera bike's rider was faster (which is often the unknown truth about camera bike riders).

But, it does account for his always accelerated rear tire wear. :lol:

Well . . . . . his tire wears out because of his engine mods, so subtly done that the engine appears to be stock.
Cubic money it takes, cubic money I tell ya. That's why he sold that Ford, to pay for his stealth DRZ mods.

Absolutely. His recollections always have him at the back of the pack, far off the pace. Yet, every time I look around, or pull in to the scheduled stops to regroup, he is right there. Even when he relaxes on a section, such as a tight downhill with repeated hard braking zones and decreasing radius corners. Despite "falling back" , within a minimum of corners, he somehow catches right back up, if not cutting through the pack and pulling right to the front seemingly at will. All the while, I had been running WOT, doing my best energy conservation and aero tuck moves.

Yup. Fishy indeed.
