After receiving "Credible Threats" from a goon squad, that photo was stashed in a safety deposit box years ago. After reading your recent other posts, I am not sure that I can find that one either.

Wow, my little shoulder thingy was nothing compared to that stuff. Twas merely a flesh wound.

What? You survived Cinco de Mayo? I thought for sure that you would get done in either by tequila or happy fire, or both.jhwalker wrote:I read about those magnesium knee pads.

For giggles, I bought a set of those off Fleabay. They use a harder plastic slider, with about seven holes in each puck, with Magnesium rods inserted, for a fun knee-down sparkler show.
I've ground mine down pretty well, and one of the rods has fallen out (!), though I have yet to hear any comments from fellow riders, or seen any video footage where they would be seen working.
So, I am curious now what sliders hpiguy is using. I would see no other reason for the sliders to be throwing sparks, unless there was a random pebble or something stuck in them at that very instant.
But, they look like the funny yellow "Smiley Face" sliders that are out there. Maybe he will chime in with the real story.

AWESOME PHOTO!
Love that shot! Though, internet protocol prohibits anyone from saying anything nice about anyone else's riding, so I'll have to add that it looks like he's dropping his outside elbow a tad.
What does the sticker on the back of your helmet say ?
Bitchen Pic. I wish I had a nice one like that of me riding around. -jealous-

Thanks guys. Sticker on the helmet says "Don't fuck with me about my knee pucks" Actually it says supermotojunkie.com Pucks are indeed the Wiz smiley face sparkie pucks, only place to get them in the US is McCoy motorsports in KY. I originally started using them because I kinda though it looked cool, but they last for freaking ever too. I was going through 4-5 sets of pucks a year, now I'm down to one set of these. For the record, I have a long standing history of dropping the elbow for some reason, no idea why.
