Before it got stuck, were you having any problems with shifting (grinding, kicking out of gear, etc.)?

How does the clutch pedal feel? Have you been getting any clutch slip lately?

No clutch slippage it felt fine but 5th gear felt like it wanted to kick out of gear before it went to shit.

Assuming that you have some brand of after market shifter, and that the exterior stops are properly adjusted, you should pull the shifter off the top of the trans and inspect it and the nylon bushing that is in there to make sure that it is not damaged. I broke a Steada shifter once, for instance, and the break was not visible until I pulled the shifter off the trans. If the shifter is not the issue, you could have bent or damaged shift forks, as they are aluminum in the Terminator and not the strongest in the world. The Viper gets steel shift forks, and that was what were in my Terminator, but I had cut gears and all sorts of improvements on my final trans. The gears themselves are plenty strong, so the rest of getting a good trans is in the details and, for the 390 HP Terminator, Ford did not go all out. Of course, shift forks do not generally bend when driven by slow shifting cruiser types, so this shouldn't be your issues but, you could have damaged the syncros trying to shift like a pro.

Better take it to a GOOD shop to figure out what the issue is.

Silly comment, but check the easy things first. Clutch adjustment or heat. Were you driving it hard, doing launches and slipping the clutch prior to it acting up?

After back to back dragstrip launches, the clutches will get hot and "lock out" until they cool. Feels like you broke the tranny, but will return to normal once things return to room temps.

If you have aftermarket adjuster on your clutch cable, inspect and play with that. It may have jumped a hook or need to have the slack taken out.

Yes I did. Bumper Cover, Chin Spoiler, Foglight and Core Support
This story sounds familiar. The animal I hit was black and made of rubber in a circular shape.

Only difference is it took out my H/E and all my IC fluid leaked out and stranded me. :teasing-nutkick:

FYI, the car works fine without any intercooler fluid as long as you stay out of boost. I took a tossed rock on the freeway through my intercooler and all the fluid leaked out quickly and the car went to limp mode so I exited the freeway thinking that it had blown up or something. After checking for a tossed blower belt, I finally noticed that all the fluid was out of the tank for the intercooler, and, I figured that I was stranded, but the car fired up and felt fine. So, I got back on the freeway, but, when I gave the car some normal throttle, it immediately went to limp mode. So, I pulled off again and shut it down and restarted it, and it was in a normal running condition, so, by experimentation, I discovered that I could maintain regular freeway speeds as long as I just eased into the throttle very gently. No harm was perceived by the sensors as long as boost and heat were not detected, so it ran like a heavy, low compression, low HP, vehicle.
