That's right. I remembered a Mystic car here but couldn't find the thread.

I don't get to see mine daily, but everytime I do it makes me stir in my loins. The car can be a giant headache at times, but it still makes me wet.

Don't think I can get rid of it. I still regret letting my 98GT go, and it was just a hopped up 2V. Tons of great races, near death experiences, and memories in that car.

The tough thing is going to be, will it to the grandsons or be selfish and be buried in it?

I'm wondering if the Terminator is going to end up being one of those cars? You know, the one people hearken back to as being a game changer. Production numbers aren't super low, but with just a two-year run followed by a change in body style.

That Termi might end up being a valuable inheritance or an expensive coffin!

That's part of the reason I'm excited about the 2015 Mustang. For the first time, the full run of Mustangs will be IRS and the chassis was designed around an IRS, rather than having an IRS designed to bolt into a stick-axle chassis, like the Termi. Wheel hop should not be an issue with the '15+ cars like it was with the Termi.

And I definitely know how you feel. When I had my Termi, at least girls dug the pretty Sonic Blue. With the Notch, no girl that has seen it has liked it or even given it a second look. Guys on the other hand... always compliments from guys when I take the Notch out. After putting the '96 Cobra wheels on it, I took it out for the first time in a while to go get lunch and got a compliment (from a guy) in the parking lot.

I think the Terminator will get it's due at some point. It still amazes me the number of people who don't know about the '03-'04 Mustang. Car folks know about it, but when other-wise well-informed guys hear me mention that a bunch of us were running 11's in 2003-4-5 in full-bodied Mustangs they think it is just a case of "geezer babble". It was the best in so many ways. We are talking about a 12 year old car that still outperforms many big-bucks cars. I sometimes regret selling Piggie, when bringing the number of cars I had under control, but if I HAD kept her she would have never made the trip down here to Mexico. Rural Mexico is a car killer of magnitude.

I have a Terminator engine in my SPF. That is ALMOST like having a Terminator... :-D
