Texas

Post by fire818 »

so I drove to texas and let me say it was a far drive but fun nonetheless.1440 miles from Burbank Ca to Waco texas. Was a fun trip but on my way there I hit the biggest freaking Jack rabbit I have seen in life and I kept driving thinking oh well its only a rabbit it cant be that bad but then I put my high beams on and look to my left and there is tons of rabbits and huge deer just on the side of the road hanging out.So I went from going 75 miles an hour to 40 miles an hour and this is after driving about 18 hours strait at around 3 am. So tired and the road pitch black I decided to pull into the closest gas station which felt like I had to drive 50 miles just to find one on the way. Get out of my car to go see the damage and to my utter surprise my bumper was cracked my foglight gone and I flipped out I blame this on the multiple red bulls and the lack of sleep that I was so upset . so I decided to sleep in my car cause all the hotels in the area were at full capacity and did not want to drive anymore. so woke up 2 hours later got out of the car and looked at the bumber again and decided ohhh its not that bad could have been worse and hit a deer .... anywho heres me racing a Porsche Carrera S.

I' d think that the Porsche was fast, but, I know your car with you driving, is slow. That Porsche driver better hope that he never runs into a real Mustang with a driver who wants to win. If you gave me the jump every time, my 5.0 slug would take your vert down as well. Oh, wait, I already have slayed you with the 5.0 slug. I guess you should stick to slaying rabbits.......

No audio so I could tell much about how hard you were trying to win. But the camera did not jerk hard when you shifted so it appeared that you might have been dogging it a bit to allow your GF's dad to feel good and win.

Sorry to hear about the jack rabbit damage. 03_Sonic_Blur went through something very similar when he smacked a coyote with the front of his car. His damage was worse though.

I got a chance to drive 2 Carrera S cars awhile ago, a stick and the DCT or whatever it is. They are a blast and pretty quick, but not Terminator quick. Super comfy ride while being tight and probably more cabin space for my 6'4" ass than my Cobra.

They are great cars the ride quality is so good stays planted really well at high speeds I love Porsches. The first clip was one ofthe first races and we went heads up nd beat him by at least a car or more. The look on his face was priceless I kind of felt bad this old mustang spanked him :naughty: he was amazed that I beat him that bad he's like what kind of mustang is that he's never heard of a cobra. So I told him hey all give you a car length and we were pretty even until I got heat soaked then he would pull on me more. But over all it allot of fun he said he never does anything like that cause he doesn't have anyone to do it with... So with a smile on his face another satisfied customer was slayed.... And tetge I agree I'm not much of a racer and I do believe that my car is faster then that 5.0slug except I'm not 150 years old like you so I'm not much of a racer

I was faster when I was younger and I could still see and I still had relatively quick reflexes. But, after I turned 100, or so, I started to lose it. And, now, at 150, I am really easy pickings. But, fortunately I have the 5.0 slug and all I do is stab the throttle and it does everything else on its own. I even always leave all the nannies on, as Ford knows better than I do. But, all this is usually advantageous since it took skills that I have mostly lost, to get the most out of the old Terminator, but, the 5.0 slug is idiot proof.

You should have been pulling that glorified VW Bug like it was broken, but, the video never clearly indicated that you had the quicker car.

This is really funny.... I was actually watching Diablito vids, when I somehow came across this new Termi vs Porsche vid. I went ahead and commented on it, and even asked what the mods were, after properly plugging Tetge's vids, as well as my own. Then, hours later, I come in here and found out that it was YOU!! Awesome.

Looked like a good time. Bummer about the Rabbit. I fear a high speed animal strike of any kind out here. I've been lucky so far. No real deer out here, unless a cow or horse breaks through a fence. But, about 50 miles away, is a crazy deer crossing area, and up by Zion, people are hitting them like flies. I swear every third rental car must be totaled out by a deer strike. Scary. Another reason to keep me from riding at a fun pace out here.
