We are staying at some friend's beach 'cottage' here. They bought here 23 years ago and have improved it over the years.
Pretty great setting. will post some pictures.
La Manzanilla is down from La Manzanillo which is a port and a jungle drive away. 'tis a very sleepy beach town, claims 2000 people but I have only seen maybe 2-300. Such a simple, quiet setting.

Si, it was a very good time.
We just got home. exhausted... good time.
I arrived here June 10, 2010 I think. It has been great fun, great frustration here. The stroke totally changed my life, and Mexico has gone in a different direction than I expected. I'm thinking about another 10 year project -- that will take me to my mid-80's. But not here... I will start a new thread. maybe in a couple of days...
