productive two weeks , but it is hard to be away from home so long.
We return in September, for the 35th year of our annual charity event for ECF. This will be final year of organizing/funding the event. Terri started working on their behalf in 1975, I joined her in '81 or 82. All good things come to an end... it is too hard to plan, organize and come up here from Mexico. And it is difficult for me to travel.
Life goes on...

An easy trip down. It has been raining. Things look good. The dogs and cats seem happy to see us.
Glad to know you are home, away from the crazy crowd. I escorted Brakelate out to Ventucopa yesterday, he checked in from Tehachapi, heading back to Big Water, trying to keep him and Mrs Brakelate cool. Good talking to you and your wife at the table. Fast crowd!!
By the way, anyone who attends the El Pescador meetings is welcome to visit and hang out at the homestead down here. San Miguel de Allende is a pretty special place in many ways, and we built to have room for our 3 sons and their families to visit at the same time -- so can handle up to 8 guests at a time. In 7 years we have only had a full house twice.
I finally managed to get on the computer here at the home, as they are still really peeved that I escaped their supposedly fool proof locked facility and too a new Mustang for a "test ride" at the local Ford dealership. When the police pulled me over on the way home, I just acted confused and bewildered, and, they ultimately simply returned me to the home.
But, they tell me, it was fun, whatever I might have done. And, I do recall that James looked to be in significantly better condition than at the prior get together. I also seem to recall that I was all pumped up about driving a 435 (on 93 octane) pony car, only to find that I was #4 in performance behind some Shelby with 700 RWHP, or so, and a big blue Hellcat with 707 advertised, and who knows how much at the wheels, and a water cooled huge 1200cc BMW motorcycle that also would have a better power to weight ratio that a Mustang GT.
I didn't even take James for a ride to impress him with the awesome 13 second 1/4 mile performance of the Mustang. Hell, it wasn't even the cleanest car in the parking lot. This was a rough crowd and, they have the HP goods for sure as getting 700 HP out of a stock Coyote ain't happening. I was hoping for 400 RWHP, on 97 octane, although this is ambitious power based upon reputable dyno tests on the net as it is only a little 302 cubic inch engine.
But, it was nice seeing everyone even if I had not clue where, or when, it was. I'd write more, but, I do not want to miss my morning snack, as it could be jello!
Hell, if I had driven the SPF Cobra over from its storage place in Nebraska, it would have only been #3 in power at 605 rwhp. no Bueno
power/weight ratio is ok, but that is what all the losers say
