Definitely not as annoying as the kid, but still... The comments seem to blame him for beating on the car, but I wonder if the trucking company had something to do with it? Either way, odd failure. They haven't followed up yet with a diagnosis.

Re: 2020 GT500 Awesome Video
I took a look at the kid's main page, and and earlier video he made about becoming a youtube content provider and making money, when he was starting out with his GT350R., He stated them, in 2018, that he was 18 years old, so that explained part of my issues with him. He also confirmed that other than having a down payment saved up that he used to get his GT350R, everything he was doing was financed by youtube. He also created an LLC and set it all up in the beginning as a business. His entire approach was methodical, so, getting an early GT500, and immediately doing a blanket of tests and reviews, was a sound business decision, which worked, as it put him on the map, and Mustang folks everywhere became aware of him and watched his videos.
So, he is very young, and, in my case, I suppose that this may be the key ingredient that disturbed me about him. But, in fact, he may be handling his measure of success well, as we all know many examples of young people who achieve success and really mess up things, as it is difficult to handle the ego at such a young age. But, his content is solid, and the video, and sound, good quality, and, content is the real measure of how useful things are on youtube.
At this point, I have recovered, and, in spite of the release of another epic performance Mustang, I already know that I already experienced a Terminator, and that it was at what I consider an overall better time. There is also zero doubt in my mind that the blower whine of a Terminator, and the manual trans, along with all the other mechanical sounds and sensations, in part made the Terminator such a joy to drive the entire time that I had it. The sophisticated GT500 is super fast, but, almost too civilized, and, as one comment stated, even your sister could jump into a dead stock GT500 and run no worse than low 11's, as there is really almost no skill involved.
So, once again, I have come to realize that there is no recreation of the past possible, and, you can not go home again, for Look Homeward Angel, fans.

Hmmm, how does a teenager afford to "save up" GT350R down payment money? Could he possibly be a spoiler kid with rich parents? There's no doubt badgering pretty much every dealer nationwide in order to receive delivery of the first consumer GT500 was a great business move. It gave him plenty of content, and he had the market cornered. He's still annoying. I won't subscribe, and I will continue to watch with my adblocker on.
I do think we hit the jackpot with the Terminator, but I wouldn't buy another one. After selling the Notch, I have enjoyed fitting comfortably in all the cars we've owned. I've test driven several of the newer Mustangs, and I fit comfortably in those. Nicely optioned 18+ GTs can be had for high $20k to low $30k, and even some 16+ GT350s can be found for under $40k, if you cast your net wide enough. I'm still holding out hope to buy another Mustang eventually.

New youtube video of a 9.93 @ ~140 MPH 1/4 pass with a GT500 with a tune. Sounded really strong, and, the nannies still kept it going straight without massive traction issues. I did not see info on suspension and tire but, I assume that it had DR's on the stock rims as it is difficult to get a 1.6x, 60' time on high performance street tires. I did not copy the link, but it is easy to find by entering GT500 in the youtube search field. Also, it seems that people are running these cars with no roll cages and minimal safety gear so the old 12 flat rule, and later 11.5 rule must have been changed to reflect all the really fast new stock vehicles. They also must have changed the rule that loosened up the need for a cage, as, it only applied in the past to vehicles that were dead stock.
Still, a sub10 pass at 140 MPH is very impressive.

That has to be the most gentle 9 second pass I've ever seen. The crazy HP, launch control, and DCT really takes all the drama out of it. You've also gotta love the state of technology where his tuner could send him a new tune while he's at the track!

Yes, I'd like a little more drama.
