Damn, that was awesome! I'd have to say my favorite sound was V10 at the end. :o

And, yes, I have been watching the Senate Confirmation Hearings. I haven't known whether to laugh or cry. America is well on its way to being "great" again. What a f*cking mess. I keep praying I will be wrong in all this, but boy are they making it hard to believe that's a possibility.

Congressional hearings are always a farce. They are political theater. Whenever the witness is on "the other side" his or her orders are to sit there, take it, and shut up. Blow kisses while some pompous politician is lying about you.

There must be a good back story on that Shell ad - pulling cars out of collections? at what price? with what insurance? to be driven by who? where? transport?

I have only seen speculation on the permissions, insurance, cars.. I am too much of a country bumpkin to really get the Ferrari thing. I stopped by the dealer at the Parkway Calabasas exit off the 101 in 2001 after our first profitable year at the company in the mood to buy a 360 Spider and I was pretty much ignored. After tugging on a salesman's sleeve, he told me they were ' sold out' and taking deposits . But $80K over sticker would jump the line...
