Re: Smog Troubles
I had to get the Escape smogged down here, it failed, for another 100 pesos ($5.50) he stuck the wand into the tailpipe of a Corolla he had sitting there

Re: Smog Troubles
I wish we still had the tailpipe sniffer in CA. I always passed that easily, and even made the effort to play nice and bought a CARB approved blower and intake. The new OBDII testing gets messy with custom tunes.jhwalker wrote:I had to get the Escape smogged down here, it failed, for another 100 pesos ($5.50) he stuck the wand into the tailpipe of a Corolla he had sitting there

Re: Smog Troubles
We might be a couple of years (decades?) behind. With a 2015 car and a 2017 we have to emissions test every 6 months. then a big 40 year old truck rolls by spewing massive black smoke.SVTRonDogg wrote:I wish we still had the tailpipe sniffer in CA.
