Level 2 option now on Ford site

Post by Tetge » Wed Mar 07, 2018 12:54 pm

Interesting that the Level 2 option also includes Recaro seats, which I never saw mentioned. Adding Level 2 also means that a $2000 option is required on the base model, and, a $2200 option, on the Premium model that actually increases the price gap from $4000 to $4200. Still, even at $8500, the shocks and seats and rims and tires and all the rest of the aero and chassis stuff along with the Level 1 improvements, is a relative bargain, as with the base model, and no active exhaust, it comes in at $44590 MSRP, and, it seems to be a regular option, so, it should not get dealer markups as exclusive. I know that when I was shopping using Costco, the dealer said that they would order me a car at the Costco price, and this should not have changed.

The only possible issue might be that some have suggested that Ford may not make a lot of the Level 2 units. It may be prudent to order up while it is available as it appears that for about $10000 over the 2002, $34750
MSRP, of the Terminator, Ford is issuing a regular production 460/420 HP/TQ machine that should stomp even a lightly modified Terminator in a straight line, and that also should handle significantly better. And, Costco deals were at invoice, so, the price should be less than MSRP.
