So I did an experiment. I've never mail ordered tires, ever.

I ordered a set of Continental TerrainContact A/T tires for the WK2. It sorely needed tires as the OEM Pirelli Scorpions had 40k on them.

Tires arrived from Amazon in two days via UPS to my door. They all had recent date codes (manufactured within two to three months).

Had them mounted and road force balanced at America's tire.

All in all a great experience. Shipping was free too and they were less than Tire Rack.
