Several of the new Ducati Scrambler owners are changing the look of their bikes with Plasti Dip. I may play with it when my bike comes in.

Hipsters seem to travel to the beat of their own drums. Have any of them put neon's on their Scramblers? I know that the scooter crowd is into that sort of thing, and the best scooters also come from Italy.

I wonder how much weight coats of plasti dip add to a car, like an Audi? Still, it could be useful if you robbed banks or did frequent hit and runs, as you could peel off the coating and quickly change the color of your car.

What amazes me most about that product is how many people use it on expensive cars. It's not uncommon to see is used on new BMWs and Mercs. I've even seen it used on Lamborghinis and Ferraris. Strange. I like the flat paint look for certain things, but I don't know if I could to this to a car. It sounds like an interesting proposition for the GPz, but it wouldn't be much more cost effective than just repainting myself using standard paints.

Being able to just "unpaint" is the big advantage to me. Most of the Ducati "dippers" are turning their bikes black. Some look pretty good. I will post up some pics. Sometime...

That's true. If you want to try out a color, you can't beat being able to just peel it off if you don't like it. This is also a good option for those that tend to change their mind often.
