I saw a 550 AMG and it turned right when it had a chance to stop at a red light with two lanes in our direction and run a Cobra. It seems to be true that those that can afford the big expensive super cars have way too much maturity and sense than to play around on the street. Must be the same people who get new Z06 Vettes.

Today about a mile from my house I saw a used clk430, but "new" to the owner fail to realize the vehicle is equipped with a brake pedal as he merged right from a side street (that had a stop sign) directly on to a main thoroughfare, smiting a minivan's unfettered lead on the commute home.
I wanted to yell at the person (since the traffic light turned red and I was turning right at the light, next to the offender, but his choice of music on the "hifi" preempted me to keep to myself, since he probably wouldn't have understood me.

And run them at the track, smashing them into walls (see thread over at Socal Terminators for that, LOL)

Well, I have to admit the 550 AMG looked bad ass. And I have heard that they run, but, my car with the 315 NIttos at 27 psi can leave pretty hard on the street on a warm day when traction is there (or so Brakelate tells me as he has a similar set up on his car). In short it would be a lose-lose situation for many of those high priced image cars. Not too good when a $15K Mustnag heap takes them out with, massive induction noise, from a light. Perhaps they will learn to fear the snake, or perhaps they were already bit and they know better? I might add that racers of all sorts never get the message.

I raced a naturally aspirated 5.5L S55 with a bone stock 260HP Mustang GT on the freeway and slowly pulled on the car.

But the AMG is a different animal, I thought. Of course, I fear nothing since I drive a Terminator.
