But, this might not work well for a person who only checks in every month or so, or for a person who doesn't log in, since you have to log in to use some features. The board works, but, it is different than the standard vBul boards that a lot of us are used to.
Damn, we all (where is Juan?) agree on something?
If I were the king, I would kill every forum that has not had a post in 3 years. Or maybe two. Less is more, more is confusing.
I also agree. After so many years in the vBulletin format, I was comfortable in it, but that's not my problem really. Like Ron stated, WAY too many sub-forums in here. 90+% of them are unused and just create clutter. I think the forum software is okay, but the site could use some major trimming.
Let me know how you want things structured....I have no problem changing around the layout or hierarchy.
Also no issues with deleting stuff that doesn't need to be here for lack of use.
I'm open to suggestions!
Also, the server hosting the site needed a blow job. Went home today and gave it the old clean out of dust bunnies with my trusty air compressor.
Hope that will resolve the RAID card kernel panics that were happening lately.
So far so good since I went home around noon.
Cool. It is your toy, but we all talk about what it would take to get the site active like we are sure you want it to be.
I admit that I often scratch the noggin trying to figure out the best place to post some of my stuff. Maybe everyone can think about it more -- for myself, I don't mind the other forums so maybe it is more of an organization matter.

If you all have a layout you want this to be let me know..like I said I am not against providing a forum you guys want vs. having to work around.

I believe that everyone appreciates the offer. I'm sure that folks will think about options. I usually just follow along
