I bought dealer level tools to update all ECUs in Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge and Toyota/Lexus products.

A couple weekends ago I went thru and did all TSBs and flash updates for my vehicles myself without involving a dealer.

It was pretty cool to be able to do this in my garage. Some of the software updates made major changes (to the positive) in drivability. For example, my Hellcat had an outstanding TCM *(Transmission Control Module) update that completely changed the way the transmission shifts in sport mode. Prior to the update, when slowing for a light or a stop sign the downshift from 2 - 1 was so violent one would think there was a rear end collision. The new update completely resolved that and changed some other behavior.

In total I had 16 software flash updates to apply. PCM, TCM, HVAC, Body Control Module, ABS, etc.

I'm always doing stuff! Every once in a blue moon I swing by here to see what you guys are up to. I feel like from the old crew that caused me to spend time on Socal Terminators, nobody does track stuff anymore?

2018 has been a banner year for me! In the Camaro I won the first Optima USCA event of the year in Vegas. Won every SCCA National level event I entered into except one. I even won Solo Nationals in Lincoln this year. Won the Super Chevy Muscle Car challenge...

But since thats all Camaro stuff and you guys mostly like Fords around here... I also bought a Mustang race car.
Check it out here: https://www.autoxandtrack.com/introduci ... 7-mustang/
That link is to my site that I started a while back.

Of course because it's a Ford, it broke down the very first time I tried to take it anywhere (was headed to an autocross to shake it down).

And continuing with the Ford theme. TCI let me run their 67 Mustang in the most recent Optima event at ACS in Fontana. I was an exhibition entry but would of won the GTV class if I wasn't in exhibition.

Does that count?

Some of us got old  , and my strokes in 2016 basically shut me down. (except for yakking...)

Good to see that you have kept at it. And good to see the wins!
