New Rig for the Fleet

Post by SonicVenum »

We had some family members that got a great deal on a lease for a truck, but wanted out of the lease early, so we took it over. We've had it 3 weeks now, and I'm loving it.

2016 F-150 XLT, 3.5L Ecoboost, FX4 & 302A packages, basically every available option for an XLT

Mods so far:
Alpha Rex Pro Series projector headlights with sequential switchback signals and LED Lo/Hi/Fogs
Peragon bed cover
OEM Ford bed extender
JLT 3.0 Oil catch can
Full floor mats
Arm rest cover
All LED bulbs in the back

Two turbos, right? Friend with economist Explorer found a way to increase header diameter (K frame clearance pinched it) for significant power boost

Yup, twin turbo. I'm not sure if the F-150s would have the same issue because they are on a larger frame, but I know a simple tune can pick up quite a bit of HP. They also sell turbo replacements, and intercooler upgrades to keep the power longer. BUT, I plan on buying an extended warranty once the original factory one is near its end, so I wouldn't want to do anything that could allow them to deny a claim on any engine issues. It has plenty of power as-is.
