Oooooh... that sounds so sweet. This is pretty exciting stuff. I wonder what they'll do for the GT500?

Blown or Turboed something or other for the GT500. Probably another year or two out. This one is more my style, high revving and geared for the twisty track.

Re: GT350 Revealed Today
The article made it seem like the GT500 would be a drag car, leaving the GT350 to be the track car. I'd imagine the 500 will cost more, but the 350 may be a better bang for the buck, considering its versatility. It's funny how the car is so track-focused that leather seating, and the other fancy gadgets are options. It's like Ford is saying, "Well, if you want to be a poser, we'll put all that extra heavy stuff in there for you."

Re: GT350 Revealed Today
Every once in awhile I sort of regret that I was not more of a financial success. And the GT350 is a reminder of the fact that sometimes the good stuff is beyond my humble means. Reading up on it and hearing the brief sounds of it running made me feel sad. But then I remembered that I had been riding motorcycles for 50 years and I could still go out and get a bike that would stomp the GT350's ass, along with mostly everything else out there. And, I could afford the motorcycle.
Still, I did feel some cravings when they revealed the GT350. It also reminded me of just what a tremendous bargain my Cobra had been, although I personally faded the brakes completely on the Cobra more than once. Of course, I also completely faded the brakes on my Busa, but, I was rolling with Brakelate at the time, and, if I don't say so myself, that run remains the quickest that I have ever covered twisty roads in my life. But, come to think of it, I was also rolling with Brakelate when I faded the Cobra's brakes out! Damn, I miss that old boy as he really knew how to tour.
