Very interesting. Stock is best. So, it's all in the porting, the cams, the boost, the tune, and the build.

Carlos used to sell blocks to John M, and may still, but, at one point John had so many stored up that he did not want more. As long as there are old Lincoln Marks out there, there are plenty of the world's strongest blocks to be had. And, due to the robust nature of the 4.6 in the Lincoln, generally it is not the engine that junks the car. Speaking of which, I have reports that Carlos is running the gutted Mark that he got from my friend at the Willow Springs Drags and he is, I believe, in the 9's. It is not street legal and he brings it on a hauler, but, its 4.6 is making good power without juice or a blower. It is also rumored that he has plans to go quicker. Viva Ford!

Damn, good read. I was on the "ooh, flat-plane crank!" boat. It's a good thing I can't afford the GT350 anyway, or I might've bought one, then read this article, felt sad, gone and driven the car, then felt happy again.

That engine is bigger than the Terminator engine I think - There is one on a stand at 16 minute mark. I am not sure that it will fit in my SPFjhwalker wrote:That vid makes me feel kinda funny...
