I'm Sunny, aka JaguarXJ6 on many car related sites.

I''m 31 and caught the Internet bug when I was 16 and have been gaming, browsing forums, and being a computer nerd ever since.

I enjoy autos of all sorts and am attracted to the blend of sport/luxury over all. I started driving in Europe and on the Autobahn with rental cars when I was enlisted in the Air Force and fell in love with Jags soon after.

I have gone through several "modern" inline six and classic V12's, some good some bad. Not sure what's next for the garage, nothing expensive for now! Saving for a house.

I'm in Los Angeles and share beers with XJRGUY often. I'm glad to be here!

We never pick on Jaguar owners. They used to be Fords, after all. And, the owners never race or anything. In a million visits to a lot of drag strips over the years I have never seen a single Jag, ever.

I know of one instance where the moderator of this section of the forum took his previously owned 1997 XJ6 to Willow Springs and ran it around the track full tilt.

Ran the car so hard the transmission barfed out its fluid.

Maybe if he ever comes back to this forum he can post the pics of that thing rolling around the turns.



Now he has an XJR so watch out that thing may make it to the track...

There was a v-6 4wd Jag at Famoso out in the back lot in 2002 when SVT had an owners event at Famoso doing the AutoX and it was bloody fast for a luxury sedan. But, generally, they never race.

Sounds like you need a new moderator. Luckily, I know a couple guys that might fit the bill.

After I sold my XJR he has nobody else to talk to about part failures, sunvisor clip destruction, supercharger belt slippage and the merits of the GM 4L80E transmission!
