Life Updates
So, some of us have known each other for quite a while, others not. Many of us have gone through major transformations in their lives, and the types of vehicles they were known to drive or ride.
Lets catch up... I'm still in the '03 Cobra and my only two wheeler at the moment is an '09 Suzuki DRZ400SM.
Where are at XJRGuy? In a Raptor, riding a Concourse 14, or what exactly is in your stable at the moment?
Many of the old school guys have moved on to more modern machinery for one reason or another. Some lost interest, or were tempted by another newer, model. Some were forced into a change due to physical ailments, financial situations or simply changes in address requiring a more "do it all on a less than maintained road" scenario. Some just move on because they can't sit still and are always looking forward, chasing that next new latest and greatest rush.
Whatever the reason, why not tell us who's got what, and why!

Re: Life Updates
I wander the vast internet, homeless, with no direction, cause, or purpose. I have no performance machines now that I had to sell both my MotoGuzzi and my '03 Cobra due to the nearly complete failure of my left hip. I kept the "09 Suzuki DR-Z because, although it is a major undertaking that involves some serious pain for me to swing my leg over the tall seat to get on the bike, once on it the upright seating position and peg placement is about as good as it could get for a person with a bad hip. These days I drive a slow cage with an auto trans that is boring but which gets me around to shop for groceries.
I still have no clue how to embed videos in a post, so, some things never change. But, here is a link to a youtube video of me testing the new cage at Famoso:

Re: Life Updates
I spent 45 minutes tryng to figure that one out myself (embedding videos), but failed miserably. I finally accepted defeat and went on my way.

Perhaps it can not be done on this board? That would actually be a relief since then THEY could not lord it over us by embedding all their videos and going back and embedding ours and laughing at us. Before we could delete their posts and ban them for life, but now, they are on equal footing, so it would be even worse.

I did, however , manage to change my Avatar. That only took 30 minutes. Pretty slick, eh?

Cool thing now is, we don't have to be politically correct, can be honest about what we think and not be concerned with "keeping the peace".Tetge wrote: Before we could delete their posts and ban them for life, but now, they are on equal footing, so it would be even worse.

References to porn are no good without pics, or, at least, links.Brakelate wrote:Cool thing now is, we don't have to be politically correct, can be honest about what we think and not be concerned with "keeping the peace".Tetge wrote: Before we could delete their posts and ban them for life, but now, they are on equal footing, so it would be even worse.

Where does one start? Though the really racy stuff is supposed to go down in the basement with the NSFW goodies.

I saw that pic in the parlor above the bar and I thought it was so classy that I did not even add it to the artwork that I was taking. But, I have to say that I felt better about all those gold bathroom fixtures after you said that you were removing all the copper pipes. They would have been of no use anyway without water.

True. I did find that the bars on the windows have prevented me from removing most of the larger items.
