Thanks for doing me the favor and taking the time to sign up. Though we have never met, seems like you are just the type of guy who possesses the proper riding skill, moral character, ethics, upbringing, sense of humor and down to earth common sense that would allow you to fit right in here. The combination of those qualities in a man (or woman) are growing harder and harder to find by the moment. I think you would bring a fresh, new outlook with a great perspective from another part of the nation, which we sadly lack exposure to. So, jump in, share you local ride tales, pics, vids and whatever you have. Good folks are hard to find, and we'll take 'em no matter how far and distant they may appear to be on a map.
Post up some eye candy... pics of your bike, and share with us your "How To" wheelie vids. Tetge has been itching to give it a shot, and I think you are just the guy to get him up to a full third gear balance point in no time at all!
Seriously, we get tired of the same old scrub brush, dried up West Coast scenery and attitude. Please open our eyes to what else is out there, from the lush green landscape to the down home good cooking and favorite libations, legal or otherwise!
So open up and enlighten us City Slickers to how a DRZ survives a Southern lifestyle. And remember;

Re: FNG here
Thank you guys for the warm welcome!
Jay, I really appreciate the kind words buddy, honest I do. And I completely agree that a lot of those qualities are getting hard to find in todays generation. I have my own theories on that one, but I'll leave it alone, as I'm not here to offend any parents LOL. I'm pretty slammed until the end of May, but I'll do my best to post up some stuff here and there. And I have some cool things planned for this summer for sure.
I hope it comes across in my posts on SMJ, but I've always had a lot of respect for you and the guys (tetge, etc) that you ride with. You guys never seem to get drug into the pissing matches over a video, and all have a ton of talent in the saddle. I just wish riding season was longer here.

Re: FNG here
You are making me strongly reconsider my life choices. Though, I am a little too deep into it at this point to consider any real variations.
Man, I keep thinking "ROAD TRIP!!!" Throw the bikes in the trailer and a group of us Cali riders coming out and letting you show us your favorite local spots. I want to see that rock ledge and lookout spot with the wooden patio thingy! Then again, Tetge is not a good guest, and would likely get all rowdy, kicking over the furniture, doing donuts and triple jumping the stairs off the front porch on your 50, etc. late at night.

LOL, it's not without it's drawbacks also, I can assure you. But I mostly have no regrets.
We'd love to have you guys out anytime, though I know that's a road trip from hell. I'd say two days non stop drive time rotating drivers while the other sleeps. And I can assure you, the fiddy can take it if Tetge can. You can't break a Honda 50, it's not possible.

Well, it's not so much the bike, but the tubes. From all the broken Gin bottles he's have thrown about after emptying them out while warming up for his tricks.
