Terminator Owner

Post by MrCaliKrome »

I ran into 03_Sonic_Blur at the Turkey Drags @ Willow and he was kind enough to PM me and let me know about this local racer site.

Looking forward to meeting you guys out at some race events.

I drive an 04 Convertible Mystichrome Cobra Terminator I picked up last year. Mods so far are just BPU+ with a few supporting items.

No times in the car yet, other than Willow's 1000ft, so looking forward to some real 1/4 times.

Welcome to the site. I remember checking under the hood of your car at Willow to see what kinds of obvious cheating mods you were running since all Terminators are modded. This site doesn't have a lot of action, but, we post if we are hitting Willow or Famoso so it can be useful for local networking. We also post time slips sometimes so that we can compare results and bench race.

Welcome Ronoldo. Stay tuned here to hook up for events at local tracks. There are some road racers on here and they will tempt you with trips to road courses as well as the drag racers

If you own a motorcycle, there will be temptations from that corner as well

I love the MystiChrome paint.

Last thing, it is nice to see someone else from Ventura County who owns a Terminator who wants to run the car instead of just do parking lot meets and BS swapping

Another thing about his car. His is another RET tuned Terminator, so watch out when you run him

Welcome! So, what kinds of times were you pulling down at Willow? Some of us didn't make it last time, so we wonder what we are missing. 8-)

'Vert and an RET Tune, sounds like he would be a perfect match for Fire818 to run with his car (if he ever got off his butt and showed up again!).

If you have some suggested cheat mods for the Terminator, I am all ears. :ugeek: Unfortunately I haven't run across any "free mods" or the likes even though I did a few searches when I first got the car. I would love to find some tweaks!

I'm trying to avoid road courses as I bought this Convertible just to cruise around. I have been tempted a few times, but would rather not beat on it too hard. Just some 1/4 passes to see what it puts down for fun, but I don't want to turn this car into a quasi-race set up.

I sold my GSX-R750 after years of track days and canyon riding. I still have my suits and all my gear and got dragged out to ride mini bikes (50cc 2 strokes) a few months ago at Willow's Kart track. It was fun as hell and feels just like the big bikes and I may get one at some point, but right now I've got some motocross bikes and I can barely get out and ride as it is.

I'm not big into standing by my bike or car in a parking lot, but doesn't mean I won't show up to hang out on occasion. It just means I'd rather be "doing" than "talking" about doing stuff.

Brakelate, you didn't miss much in terms of the track (no prep or traction), but it was a lot of fun to finally get out and run the car at a "track" for the first time. There weren't that many people clogging up the staging lanes so it wasn't a long wait to make a pass.

Best pass of the day was a 10.9 @ 104.6

Other than RT, there were no other data points, so I have no idea what kind of 60' I was cutting nor 1/8 ET/MPH.
