Racing a GT40 in the rain. 2 vids

The Supermodels of the car world. High performance, high maintenance and high price tag but oh so worth it.

Racing a GT40 in the rain. 2 vids

Post by jhwalker »

The first video is 4+ minutes of Kenny Brack hammering the other GT40s due to him passing so fast -- in the rain.

No electronic aids. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jF__B1 ... ded#at=232

Folks watching were pretty much not believing it. This second video is him being interviewed about how he was going so fast. If you can only watch 1 vid, I say watch the 2nd one. He has some great quotes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zMGR9qjj4I

Brilliant!

I have had some great times in the wet. Chasing The1904kid's new 5.0 in the rain on up at The Streets CCW in the Cobra on those damn 335 Viper tires was one (glad he got that save on camera), and then my first real Sttars Supermoto Series win on the KTM on Slicks up at HTM in the cold rain. Come to think of it, we had that one good, odd cold wet season up at HTM running with XSpeed with Ronnie and SD Dave and others as well as running the DRZ way over it's head without tire warmers there. Good stuff.

OK. So, who had more balls? The driver, or the car owner for allowing (or instructing him to?) push that hard? Cheers to both, regardless.
