Here is the Cobra Hood:

I just want the "shaker vent" showing and not the black trim around the vent. So My idea is to have the Cobra hood to add height and maybe hide black trim around the vent.
Would this work?
Can I put a Shaker Hood System in a 1995 Cobra R hood (mustang gt 01')?

frankly i doubt it because the cowl design hood is about 4 inches higher than the stock profile.
your shaker setup (ram air system, which by the way is a great installation)....MUST fit flush on the hood and retain contact - fixed to the intake manifold....(thats why its called a shaker....the hood scoop is independent of the hood , but `shakes` with the engine ....being properly installed is key (the shaker tray) to insure water does not enter the engine area.
you can double ck with the support line at american muscle, but i am certain you will get the same answer.
the cowl hood is really intended to provide greater clearance for a supercharger installation....on the top of the engine and really would not look correct at all with with your plan for the `mach 1 style` shaker system.
