Actually, that is interesting, and sort of validates an earlier statement by me that with the less than $60K price of the new Corvette, more than ever, Corvettes will be a realistic option to expensive Ford Mustangs. And, Chevy has not even dropped the hammer yet with a monster version of the new Vette, which should cover the GT500 Mustang performance wise. I still remember the first new 6 cyl Corvette that i saw as a youth, so, Corvette's are also icons of American iron, along with Harley's and Mustang's. As such, they sort of appeal to the same audience.

Hey! Maybe I should get a new Corvette?

I like the idea of the new Corvette, and I'd probably love the performance, but the looks are just lightly off to me. It's like a special needs super model. I also still remember when we did the Chevy Rev It Up event. I was not comfortable at all in those Vettes, which I think were the C6. They may have made more room in them now, but I likely won't find out.

I have not seen a new Corvette in person, but, I am not a fan of the look at this point. But, for the alleged price, there is little doubt that it offers a lot of performance.

Actually, and it hurts a bit to say this, GM, to some extent, does an admirable job creating performance machinery. And, the Vette pricing comes in a lot better than the GT500.

Since the strokes, my Spanish has been limited to just a few words. :( Not the worst thing, but sad. I enjoyed listening in, although the campo Speech is very different that centro speech. I find that my recent fall down the back steps put me in a time machine, transported back to 2016 -- the worst period after the event.
Such is life.
I was once delusional and thought I was in control of my life.

If it is delusional to think that we have any control at all over our lives, you are not alone. And, as with all fate, it seems, the uncertainty of the roll of the dice, means that no one is assured of a clean run through life, but, also, some get a better run than others. Which is why, at this point in my life, as I wait in line to sell my hair so that I can buy some food, I always tell people to enjoy their winnings while they can, as procrastination does not always work out too well. Of course, that too can backfire, as highlighted by cases of famous celebrities who end up dead broke after making countless millions. But, at least one can have a fling, or flings, to look back on, even if they end up destitute in the end, although I also would advise a little prudence as fate can also deal you out a longer life span than you anticipated, and that too can be a mixed blessing.
