North Korea... about to make a big mistake?

Post by Brakelate »

Is this talk of "War" with South Korea just the typical banter, or are these fools actually building up to making a very ugly move?

I think the guy over there Kim Un needs to act like a lunatic in order to gain credibility over there.

The alternative is he acts passive (weak in the military leader's eyes over there) and some other warlords take over.

Then we have 10 guys to worry about.

This is classic saber rattling. He is pissing China off in a big way and they are their only fan in the region.

US and China won't fuck with each other because there is too much $$$ at stake.

The only problem that I see which is a huge one is if someone does a crazy ivan and invades or screws with South Korea or Japan.

Then all bets are off but N. Korea does not have the ability to strike Hawaii, Guam or the US mainland.

They have a tired, starving army based on old communist hardware. The BIG threat is the massive artillery buildup they have in hardened fortifications.

IMHO. :ugeek:

Traditional Saber rattling is one thing, but this guy sure has been using some harsh, more specific threats lately.

I just hope he isn't foolish or evil enough to lob an artillery mounted nuke over into Sout Korea's capitol, or anywhere else for that matter.

It does appear that he is losing the backing of his most loyal allies. I don't mind mutual respect or the "threat for stabilization" game. But, as this guy grows increasingly vocal, the more I worry he will do something spontaneous and squeeze off a big round... even if just in a moment of rage.

I wonder what Reagan would have done?

If Reagan were at the helm, they wouldn't be talking shit in the first place.

That's what I am thinking. Otherwise, you'd think that the Chinese would do something, but, maybe they are scared of the mighty N Korean war machine?

I doubt the Chinese would blink in the face of a North Korean stare down. Especially when they keep getting caught photoshopping all their military exercises to appear more vast in number than they actually are. :liar:

I am growing concerned. Not necessarily for my own personal safety, but for the North Korean innocents and those other civilians who will be caught up in the whole mess.

Anyone else think this fool is actually going to pull the trigger?

And there is more talent and brain trust in this elite crack rocket team than in all of Short Duck Dong's fiefdom.
