Google's Ideological Echo Chamber

Post by xbacksideslider »

You might have heard of the firing by Google of James Damore for writing a critical memo.

The MSM portrays the memo as sexist/racist but doesn't link to what he actually wrote.
Well, there's the link. Judge for yourself.

What a filthy, cis-gendered pig!!!!

Each day I read the LA Times on-line just to remind myself how far off the rails California is. I watch Google drift to the left, sad.

At WMC, we lived and died (financially) with our software. Our deal was that we had better software -- case closed. The free market proved it.
One of our most creative and talented software developers was a woman, and in our shop she floated to the top (salary and status) of the developer team. She was special. All of the other developers were men. Then one day she told me that the strain of being 'the best' was wearing her down and that she had to leave. After much talk of how she could be stay and be happy, she left. She took a job with another company for less money and carefully hid her talent. I found it interesting. Have no idea how it pertains to this

Interesting.

Anytime some critical news piece fails to quote or cite the subject, it's a red flag. None of the MSM's first round of knocks on Damore cited his memo. Now that there's a serious backlash, they're doubling down. One of them, NBC this am, on its crawl/squib, labeled his memo a "manifesto."

Screw Goolag, I switched my web searching to duckduckgo.com which is OK so far.

The thing about PC is that it is a one's attempt to force another to recite something that the other knows to be false.

The origin of the term "politically correct" is said to be from 1930s communism where one communist says to another "you know that what you said is factually incorrect" and the other communist said "yes, but it is politically correct."

An actual expert on the subject interviews James Damore.
