Well. Not so much plans as all the stuff I wanted such a tool for in the past. Not going to be building many hot rod engines or big diameter exhausts or expansion chambers in my remaining years.

Congrats on getting a proper tool to round out your British bike tool collection, as it is efficient to have the tools at hand when working on rolling British antiques, such as Commando's. if it also works on that prehistoric turbo relic of yours (I can't remember but is it in some sort of front engine Dodge pickup?), that is a bonus. I am also impressed that you are a machinist, as that is a skill that is practical and admirable, and, in fact, a cornerstone of our current industrial civilization. Of course, you have an antique machine, as now, they have all these sophisticated computer driven tools that once programmed only need to be loaded and unloaded. In a case of a very successful machine shop that I knew of, such expensive computer driven machines, allowed him to thin his dubious assortment of machinists down to himself, as he could expertly program the computer to make the parts that he needed for his successful product. And, this was awhile ago, and vast progress has been made. But, the machine in the picture would require skills to operate.

Very impressive, and, no wonder there is not a single stock bit left on that snorting Norton. It definitely helps to be a skilled machinist and mechanic if one owns an antique British motorcycle........... Why, my brother recently spent days and weeks refurbishing a fuel petcock for his 1952 Velocette. He had to ultimately buy specialized tools and source the proper cork gasket material from British West Africa, or somewhere, as it turns out that cork is not all the same. And, yes, they do not make the petcocks anymore, and have not made them, or parts for them, for a zillion years. He then returned to the really lengthy reassembly of his 500 Triumph Daytona, which he says is not user friendly due to its "Swiss Watch", his very words, not mine, engine design and engineering. In short, he does not have sufficient free time to keep his Brit bike fleet afloat, so, it is quite lucky that he got the DR-Z SM, with the electric boot, and famous reliability from me, as he is racking up the miles on it, and, I am positive that the more he rides it, the more he appreciates what a special motorcycle the humble DR-Z SM is. In fact, he may be slowly becoming a supermoto type rider, and he may not even know it, as the DR-Z SM is sneaky quick in an effortless fashion.

But, I digress. Congrats on expanding your tool set, and, also, I know that it I always feel better if I can fix something myself, and that sometimes means that one needs appropriate tools.

The tools I bought were some magnetic things to help me work with the one dead hand and arthritic other hand. A magnetic finger sleeve. A very slender magnetic rod to retrieve the small parts that end up where I can't two working fingers on them  They should help me. I really want to get my ass in gear on some project stuff. Damn it is difficult meow, whimper.
