What a mess! First, they lose control of a drone. Then, they send jets to shoot it down but the fire control guidance electronics for the rockets doesn't work. Then, the pilots' aiming/guidance is fubar because the fire control guidance electronic guys arrogantly took the manual sights out of the planes, then the rockets' failsafe system fails and the rockets don't disarm as they are supposed to do so rockets are exploding all over the Antelope Valley and the fires they light take days to douse.
And the whole country was conned. Conned by the military's PR and all the TV shows and movies and that glorified it all. Good thing the Russians were conned too.
