Heading back to the Hastings track in May

Post by jhwalker »

We are meeting some SPF owners there for shenanigans and tracking early May. May drive the SPF to Conway, Arkansas to visit family. Terri sez she is prepared to drive if I have my usual mental/physical failure. I'm hoping this will be the last of the travel for a while. The stroke bs has not improved lately.
Maybe it is just old age

here's another Gabriella song for your pleasure...

2 of me favorites
Did I report here that at my 65th or 70th b-day party I sang 'Creep' with a band at a San Miguel restaurant (Terri jumped in when I forgot the words :-D )

Hope you can drive. If not, then I hope Terri drives it like she stole it and makes your heart jump, in a good way. :o

Naturally, I am hoping that you can actually carry out your plan. But, all things considered, I am still amazed at the level of your activities, and, I even take into account that you are my elder. Although I have been diagnosed with advanced lethargy and sloth, which partly explains my inability to gather sufficient energy to such things as walk to my kitchen to make a drink, as it is many steps from my TV chair, I am still in a somewhat better position to appreciate the energy and strength it would take to be a world traveler, let alone to drive any car at a road course, These days, with the advent of Spring like weather, I have been feeling the urge to ride my KTM, but, just getting my riding gear on, flat exhausts me. The helmet and the boots are very heavy, just to pick up, and, it takes so many physically demanding steps from my TV chair out to the garage where the KTM resides, that I just give up and tune to another NBA playoff game, as there are seemingly an endless supply of games on TV at the moment.

Not sure what is happening in the NBA, as I do not understand what game they are playing, other than it appears to be loosely based upon basketball, and, my team. surprisingly, once again appears to be eliminated from any championship considerations. And, even watching the NBA playoffs from my TV chair is not without some risks, as I nearly expired from massive stress a few days ago when the Clippers made a historic comeback and beat the Warriors. I almost dropped my frozen pizza.....

So, rock on, old guy. I wish that I had such residual strength and energy that I could summon up, as it is truly impressive. But, now, I have to go lay down and rest up, as typing this post has worn me out.
