Traveling up for a week

Terri will stay 3 weeks. The usual -- medical and family.
Pretty hectic 1 week schedule for me.
Life goes on.

We flew from Mexico City, for schedule convenience. It has been 7 years since our last drive to DF -- I remembered a lot of the route landmarks...
Mexico City looks a lot rougher than when I worked there for a year -- 20 years ago.
On the plane we were surrounded by 8 young loud kids. Noisy enuf to cut thru my silencing earphones. Little bastards.
But a good flight

You just drove by my mom. She's in DF (apparently, it's just Mexico City now, or so I've been told) visiting her brothers for a month. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

All the cabs and busses say CDMX -- (Cuidad de Mexico) but if I call it Mexico City a native says 'you mean DF, right?' It will take a little time, :violin:

We went to see friends and family at the Masters Swimming Event in Mission Viejo yesterday. Good clean fun. Watched a 96 year old guy take 6 minutes to swim 200 meters. He probably have beat me

I lost by 100+ meters to that 96 year old guy in the qualifying sessions leading up to the event that you saw.

 There were some reasonably warm (used to be hot 70-80 year old 'chicks' swimming. They were pretty proud. I might have been interested except that Terri was lookin goooood.
