This thread is about the playoffs. And, I know that you are not a basketball player since you are too small. If you are looking for Alex, I would imagine that a search under Alex the Car Girl would find where she is, but, I'd say it is highly unlikely, all things considered, that she would ever associate with this site.fire818 wrote:Immmmmmmm back on wheres tetge ineed to harasss him...hi brakelate and who ever else iis on here...where's.Alex.the car chick does she have her own section?????
Now, about the playoffs? I am tired of the game, but, I suppose I have to watch game 5 now, since the games don't make any sense, but I have invested too much time watching the playoffs to stop now.

Pretty hard to watch last night. Duncan looked 100 years old even tho his stare was in good form.

I still say that Ginobili is hurting them. And, Although I thought that Ray Allen was toast, he stepped up for game 4. But, what confuses me is the fact that the games are not close and that both teams have been able to apparently dominate the other in alternating games. Generally, the superior team becomes clear, especially with a 7 game series. So now, it is best of three, with Miami having home court advantage, and, the momentum. Of course, the NBA wants the Spurs to win game 5, and then they want a game 7 with lots of build up and hype to try to salvage the poor ratings and to sell more advertising and tickets and the NBA, itself. I am not saying that the game is fixed, although there were some bad calls by the refs., here and there, but, it would suit TV and the NBA to go to 7 games. And, I expect that at this point Miami is the favorite, although I am still hoping that the Spurs win.jhwalker wrote:Pretty hard to watch last night. I do not know who will win game 6, but, at the half the Spurs are up by 6. More importantly, jhwalker's favorite player, Duncan, has 25 points. Ginobili is still stinking the joint up with four bad turnovers in the first half. But, it is way too soon to call a victory for either team. Just had to say something about that old player, Tim Duncan.

That is a lifetime best for The Stare. I am proud of him. Just not a fan. We have to put up with Ginobili or whatever his name is because he was key in the last game, but he drives me CRAZY. It should be a good second half. I don't see the Heat throwing in the towel. Glad to see that the refs are watching the Birdman. He is brutal. What he plays is NOT basketball.Tetge wrote:I do not know who will win game 6, but, at the half the Spurs are up by 6. More importantly, jhwalker's favorite player, Duncan, has 25 points. Ginobili did not disappoint me, especially down the stretch. It appears that either he had a stroke that destroyed his brain, or he is being blackmailed, or his family is being held hostage, or something, because it is hard to understand him passing the ball to the other team so many times. Also, the Spurs did not make their free throws, but, that is to be expected to some extent. Now we have a game 7, and, odds are that Miami will win since I think that the Spurs are done at this point. Of course, anything could happen, and, there is the alternating wins theory, but, the Spurs looked tired and they also lack depth at point guard.
At least it was a close game. And, yes, it sure looked as if Ginobili was fouled on his last drive to the basket, but, he should have called time out right away instead of trying to take it to the hoop in traffic.

Tough to watch. But also goofy fun.
If Miami wins, they will have earned it. I don't see SA giving up. But who the hell knows...

Yup. Tough to watch. But, as you said, who knows with these two teams? I have to say that they are both tough outs. However, conventional wisdom gives Miami the edge since they are playing at home. Maybe we will get a good game 7?

Well, it's all over and Genobili did not disappoint me since he was lousy. However, after carefully observing the game, I decided that the Spurs did more with less talent than any other team, so, they represented well, even if they failed to win it all. They had a solid shot at it in game 6, and they ran out of gas. Plus, I have to admit, Lebron did pour it on and Wade also played well. At least game 7 was close until the 6 minute mark of the 4th quarter.
