I bought an intex pool, and I need help learning about pool chemistry to I can keep it healthy?

how long should I be running the filter, how often should I test the water. If my ph runs to low what do I do. How often should I put chlorine in?

I have one of these also...Simply buy a bromide tablet dispenser at the place you bought the pool and some bromide tablets.. The dispenser floats around in the pool and self dispenses ..do not use chlorine..bromide is better..the floating dispenser has holes in the bottom to allow the amount of bromide you want to use..I have mine where only one and a half holes are open and this seems perfect ..I only have a 8 foot one ..so according to the size of the pool..You should open one hole at a time to see what you need... The dispenser is only about 7.00 and a bottle of the bromide tablets are about 8 or 9...I only run my filter about 4 hours out of the day..Try to have something shielding it from direct sun and the motor wont work as hard...I usually run my pump in the late evening when the sun has gone down somewhat...no need to run it all day every day...This is the third one I have owned..they last about 2 seasons apiece..which is a fair price for the price of the pool itself..50.00 for 2 years of cooling off is not bad..
