How do you tell if a 1995 3000gt vr4 spyder has been repainted? Should there be a "Mitsubushi logo" before the word "Mitsubishi" on the rear end by the drivers side? Or should it read only "Mitsubishi"?

look under the hood and around the bumper vents and around the wheel wells most paint shops will let over spray fall in these areas thinking no one will look there

remove a door sill beside the seat and peel up the carpet and see if its the same color as the rest of the car, look for differences in textures of the suspicious area like a different amount of orange peel, or a newer looking paint or a little different shade.
