December 2015 Dinner
It's been awhile since there were any posts about food, so, here is a shot of my dinner just after I took it out of the oven. I expect that a picture is worth 1000 words still. And, yes, it is a three rib rib eye roast, now that you ask.

I forgot to post pics from the epic Pork Butt smoke out? Or the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf? I realize meatloaf is somewhat pedestrian, but it was wrapped in bacon! Bacon I tell you!
Let me find some pics

In case someone had a cold, there was Cough Syrup. 15 year old Glenfiddich Solera Vat. Limited supply whiskey, after a couple of belts it tastes like candy

Finally, 8 hours of slow smoked pork butt, about 11 lbs before cooking. The back yard smelled like bacon while it was smoking

Not cooked during the epic weekend above, but I mentioned bacon wrapped meatloaf and here it is. Feel free to drool or ask about my special recipe

All looks delicious! I'll have to remember to snap some pics of the tamales and pozole we're having on Christmas Day.
