Let me just start by saying I love this car. I've always liked how the Challengers look, but also thought they were a bit portly. BUT, with 840HP this one seems to be able to get out of its own way, and looks sick on DRs at all 4 corners.

Now, the big negative about this car. It's a street/strip car, but they just showed you that you'd have to slow it down by over a second to keep legal without a cage. So, if you get it, and want to use it to its full potential, you have to immediately fit it with a cage.

Back to positives... the Demon Crate is pretty damn sweet. Custom skinnies, aluminum racing jack, and digital tire pressure gauge??? Nice touches.

Is there a real specification article somewhere? rwhp, weight, the stuff... An analysis of the engine?
A cage is no biggie. Price speculation?
nice toy

I just picked up a Hellcat the other night. Knew about the demon but wasn't interested.

This car reminds me so much of my 2004 Cobra with pulley and full Borla exhaust. (That I regret trading for a GT500)

Seriously this thing hauls the mail. Still breaking it in but it's the first car I've owned that's scary. This is coming from an ex Gen III Viper owner.

Will have more driving impressions as I get more seat time.

So far, I'm impressed.

3300 are being made. 300 of those are going overseas.

Dealer markup is going to be insane if they don't end up building more than that initial allocation.

MSRP hasn't been released as of this moment AFAIK but speculation is $85 and will sell for over six figures.

Car is amazing. 0-60 in 2.1 - 2.3 seconds. Launches at 1.8G stock. So on and so forth.

It's a good time to be a gear head and car enthusiast.

 Tim, you simply CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

This calls for a team meeting at Pescado (?) in Fillmore. Terri and I are in town until Monday morning. Anyone else available and interested in a meeting of the Bored and maybe checkout the Hellcat? Sunday we have an Easter commitment... so Saturday.
I'm interested in seeing/hearing ? the Hellcat.

I forsee some serious bidding... I'll skip trying for this one unless something unexpectedly good happens to my play toy money account. It would be hard to suggest this to Terri with all of the rehab, doctors, medication blah blah blah. But 8-) 8-)
