180 times earnings is nuts, overvalued imo. It will level out eventually.

Another WTF stock is Monster Energy (MNST), currently trading at $100.43 :o

The only reason to own Gopro right now is to sell to another bigger fool, or to short it, although folks usually borrow to short rather than buy. The IPO freeze period ends late December, and that will be a "look out below" moment...

It could be tanking, but I have thought so before. The latest stunt of moving some shares into a charitable trust and getting around the major owner freeze period has spooked some folks. And here is a pretty comprehensive recap of the "headwinds" that the stock faces.

I like the product, just not the stock...

I was checking this video out for a comparison betweeen the new Hero4 models. Both look like solid upgrades over the HD one I have. Silver probably works for me, I don't have a need for 4k footage, and since the camera is usually mounted in my car I don't see a need for the higher res 120fps slow mo. I have my DSLR for any slow mo shenanigans.

I have Racechrono on my Android. Looking at getting Racechrono Pro which supports video overlays and Bluetooth connectivity to my OBD II adapter.

Looks like there's a function which allows you to import video from external cameras, such as a GoPro:

The GPS is only as accurate as the phone can be, external units are more expensive but also more accurate.

Option 2 would be to use my GoPro, 'try' to use my Garmin Edge GPS (used for cycling), then overlay the GPS data with the GoPro using software like this: http://racerender.com/Products/index.html

Which also allows more customization.

The other rub is with all these cool App toys, it would require my OBDII adapter which unplugs my Aeroforce guage which I monitor both ECT and IAT2s with. Trying to figure out what I can GPS log along with my OBDII readouts at the same time.

Picked up a 4 Silver formtomorrow. Didn't realize it uses Micro SD cards. Had to make a late night Target run to grab one.

SO, what did you think? I am getting the itch to try playing with my camera again.
