Brittany's team did pick up one of the people recently unemployed when the Al Anabi team lost funding. It may be that someone trained by Alan Johnson brought some secret sauce with themTetge wrote:Sounds like Chevys are quicker than Fords......03_SONIC_BLUR wrote:During testing in Phoenix this week, Brittany Force ran a 3.69. It seems that people do move around and they must carry secrets with them. But, I wish that they'd go back to racing the 1/4 mile as the 1000' runs are getting too quick to almost enjoy. 3.69 seconds? Amazing........03_SONIC_BLUR wrote:Brittany's team did pick up one of the people recently unemployed when the Al Anabi team lost funding. I did not realize that Al Anabi lost funding. I thought that the team had a pipeline to endless Arab oil money. The way things are going, and considering the costs involved, there may not be enough fuel teams left to put on a good show. Perhaps Ford and Castrol saw the writing on the wall and made a good decision?
