I have no idea how the pit scene is, but, it sure is messy at times since the TFTF crew has not real idea of pit etiquette. It might be best to bring a guard if you intend to unload anything valuable. I never unload a thing at Willow since I drive in with the DR's on the car. I will confess to having unloaded my tools and spare tire at home in the past and having very little extra fuel in the gas tank, but, when you have a weak machine, every little thing counts. You never can tell when some new Craparo SS will be foolish enough to run you.SonicVenum wrote:I should have a tune in the next couple weeks, so I should be ready to go. How is the pit situation over there? Is one safe to bring tools/tires and swap at the track without the fear of something being stolen?

Hmmm, I may just have to head up there on hard street rubber then. I don't want to drive all the way up there on the MTs because I don't want to wear them out before selling them.

A big chain and a lock might do the trick, and there are other, less crowded places to pit. But, come to think of it, it would cinch defeat for you if you were on slippery street tires, since MT DR's grip Willow fairly well and would enhance your fun immensely. Carlos leaves some stuff out, but, to the best of my knowledge, none of us have ever unloaded anything of immediate value, such as tires and rims. I am not saying that the Willow crowd is a bunch of crooks, I am only saying that I have no idea how safe it would be to leave things out.SonicVenum wrote:Hmmm, I may just have to head up there on hard street rubber then.
